The Skyline Convict Jig Head works great when using live or dead Bait and you want to keep it on the bottom. Great to use in different current speeds. The Convict jig head avoids your bait from spinning and rolling on the bottom. When used for Sheepshead and Tautog with different species of crabs as bait We used a 2X Strong super sharp Black Nickel hook to give you that added benefit when you need to apply that extra pulling power.
